By accessing or using the tBTC decentralized finance application (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including any smart contracts and associated interfaces deployed on public blockchains, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
To use the Platform, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or of legal age in your jurisdiction.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- Not be a resident of or located in any jurisdiction subject to sanctions, embargoes, or restricted access under applicable laws (e.g., OFAC-sanctioned countries).
3. Non-Custodial and Decentralized Nature
The Platform is a decentralized, non-custodial protocol. You retain full control of your private keys and assets at all times. We do not have access to or custody over your funds. Your use of the smart contracts is at your own discretion and risk.
4. No Investment Advice or Fiduciary Relationship
The information provided does not constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. tBTC is a decentralized protocol and does not make any representations or guarantees regarding the potential returns, profits, or performance of any assets or strategies available through the platform.
By using this platform, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your investment decisions and that you use the protocol at your own risk. No part of this website or associated communications should be construed as a solicitation, recommendation, or endorsement of any financial product or strategy.
5. Risk Disclosure
By using the Platform, you understand and acknowledge that:
- Blockchain and cryptocurrency markets are volatile and may result in significant loss.
- Smart contracts are subject to bugs, vulnerabilities, and exploits.
- Your assets may be lost due to user error, technical failures, or malicious activity.
- Regulatory uncertainty exists, and changes in law may affect your use of the Platform.
You assume full responsibility for all risks associated with your use of the Platform.
6. User Responsibilities
We may integrate technologies operated or controlled by other parties into parts of the Services. For example, the Services may include links that hyperlink to websites, platforms, and other services not operated or controlled by us. Please note that when you interact with these other parties, including when you leave the Site, those parties may independently collect information about you and solicit information from you. 7. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, logos, and interface designs on the Platform (excluding open-source components and blockchain elements) are the intellectual property of Threshold Network or its licensors. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
- We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Platform, including loss of funds, tokens, or access.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Threshold Network, its developers, contributors, affiliates, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
10. Third-Party Services
The Platform may interact with third-party applications or protocols. We are not responsible for the content, security, or functionality of any third-party services.
11. Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the new Terms.
